EMET (operating under our legal entity, STEM-EMET, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described below.
When you submit our contact form or reach out to us, we may collect:
We only collect information that you voluntarily provide. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our programs serve K-12 students, some of whom are under 18. We ask that a parent or legal guardian submit inquiries and enrollment information on behalf of a minor. We collect only the limited information needed to respond to your request and coordinate educational support (such as a student's grade level and first name). We do not knowingly collect more personal information from children than is necessary for this purpose. If you believe a minor has provided us information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
EMET coordinates many of its sessions and updates through third-party platforms such as Discord and email. When you use these platforms to communicate with us, their own privacy policies also apply. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party platform you use.
We take reasonable steps to safeguard the information you share with us and limit access to those who need it to serve you. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
